See AllBrecon The Brecon room is on the first floor. A well appointed room with a fabulous original window with original shutters overlooking Brecon town, St Marys Church spire and Pen y fan. There is a comfortable sitting area to enjoy the view. The modern en-suite has incorporated the original arch cupboard. There is also a beautiful original fireplace. (Not working).The flat screen TV incorporates Chromecast which enables you to cast your favourite programs direct to the screen using your smart phone or tablet. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bathroom is stocked with Myddfai toiletries. This room can be booked with either a King size bed of two single beds.Neath The Neath room is on the second floor and set into the eaves. Please note that the ceiling is angled in the hall so there is slightly reduced head room. There is an original window to the front of the property overlooking Mount Street and a sky light to the back towards Brecon Town and offers views towards Pen y Fan. The modern en suite has a spacious shower, wash-hand basin and toilet. The flat screen TV incorporates Chromecast which enables you to cast your favourite programs direct to the screen using your smart phone or tablet. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bathroom is stocked with Myddfai toiletries. This room can be booked with either a King size double bed or two singles.Aberbran On the first floor the Aberbran room has a King size bed that can also be made up as a twin room. The en suite modern bathroom comprises a large walk in shower, low level wc and washhand basin. The room overlooks Mount Street. The flat screen TV incorporates Chromecast which enables you to cast your favourite programs direct to the screen using your smart phone or tablet. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bathroom is stocked with Myddfai toiletries. This room can be booked with either a King size bed or twin singles.Cray A lovely king/twin room on the first floor overlooking Mount Street from the Bedroom and Brecon and beyond to Pen y Fan from the bathroom. The modern ensuites inludes a large walk in shower and a lovely slipper bath which is set into an alcove formed from the original tweenies stair case.The flat screen TV incorporates Chromecast which enables you to cast your favourite programs direct to the screen using your smart phone or tablet. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bathroom is stocked with Myddfai toiletries. This room can be booked with either a King size double bed or two singles.Cradoc Beautifully appointed second floor cozy double room, set into the eaves with an ensuite shower room. the ceiling is angled with slightly reduced head room. This bedroom has two windows one over looking Mount Street and the other faces towards Hoel Goussenou with views towards Brecon Town. The comfortable double bed is set in the middle of the room to take full advantage of the views from the windows. The modern ensuite has a low window towards the front of the property.The flat screen TV incorporates Chromecast which enables you to cast your favourite programs direct to the screen using your smart phone or tablet. Tea and coffee making facilities are available. The bathroom is stocked with Myddfai toiletries.
Mount Street House is ideally situated for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park and beyond towards the Black Mountains. We look forward to welcoming you to Brecon and our home. Breakfast is now served in the breakfast room. We have taken great care in refurbishing this wonderful home and there are many interesting features dating back to the Georgian era. The bedrooms all have comfortable king size or twin beds with duvets and well appointed shower rooms. The Cray room has a bath and separate shower. All rooms have flat screen tvs that have the regular terrestial channels. You can also connect via chromecast to view your own digital media via your smart phone, tablet or laptop. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities. The room rate includes breakfast and we endeavour to use locally supplied produce. All our food is sourced so as to ensure as short a supply chain as possible to support local shops and farmers and our aim is to continue to support our local community.
We welcome cyclists and have a secure storage area for bikes. Please let us know when booking if you are bringing your bikes.
We do not provide provision for babies or extra beds for children in the same rooms as their parents. Children over 12 are welcome.
